A NOTE FROM SARAH
As you’ll see… I like to keep creating. I am a fish. Creating is my water and it provides balance to my heart, soul, and brain. I have taken great joy in spanning mediums and helping tell stories. I often find myself the storyteller of storytellers. I don’t take this lightly and find it an incredible honor and responsibility. I hope you see this theme in my work, alongside my love of the now and how we continue to adapt storytelling and connection using the tools we have… pencils, keyboards, cameras, phones, and whatever comes next. Thank you for visiting.

Sarah Elizabeth Hill is a writer, host, producer and founder whose career has moved across journalism, digital media, technology, publishing and production, always with storytelling at its center.

Sarah began her career in journalism and news production at Al Jazeera English before moving into the startup and digital media world. Her early career included digital media work involving brands including Nike, HBO, Google Politics, Oracle and Chobani, as well as serving as Digital Community Manager for MetLife Stadium’s Super Bowl.
She later joined The Reading Room, where she built its social audience from roughly 100 followers to more than 2.5 million, creating a highly engaged community around books, authors and the culture of reading. She was named CEO and co-founder of Bookstr when The Reading Room was transformed into the new company and brand.
Drawing on her background in news, digital media and audience development, Sarah helped shape Bookstr into a content-driven media destination for readers. Her work spanned brand development, product and technology, editorial media and company leadership. She also launched and hosted her first Facebook Live show there, interviewing leading authors and cultural figures.
That chapter became the foundation for much of Sarah’s work that followed: building audiences around stories, interviewing the people behind them and creating media designed for the way people actually consume it. In 2018, Sarah founded Bobi Media, a creative and digital media company that has since served hundreds of clients across entertainment, publishing, consumer brands, nonprofits, online communities and healthcare. As Founder and CEO, Sarah leads creative strategy, production and multidisciplinary teams creating work across social media, video, podcasts, campaigns and the web.
Sarah has also worked with Clear+Vivid with Alan Alda since its 2018 launch, helping develop its digital presence and continuing to work across digital strategy, social publishing, audience development and Patreon.
Today, Sarah moves between writing, interviewing, hosting, producing, directing and building. She is the author of Chat Sh*t Crazy: A Very Human Guide to Improving Your Life with ChatGPT, host of Login and Founder and CEO of Bobi Media.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication, where she studied Professional Writing. She was recognized as a Distinguished Young Alum in 2017, later returned to deliver the college’s convocation address, and currently serves on its Board of Visitors.
SO, WHAT DOES SHE ACTUALLY DO?

BEYOND THE WORK
Sarah grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and moved to New York City in 2013, where her first chapter included sharing a one-bedroom apartment with two other women. Nine apartments, endless flights of stairs, rooftop drinks with friends, dinners al fresco and so many incredible memories later, she still loves calling New York City home.
When she isn’t working, she’s usually reading or writing, taking a long walk along the Hudson River, seeing live comedy, finding an excuse to be outside, spending time with friends and family, or hanging out with her mini goldendoodle, Hudson. She’s also a traveler and a gardener at heart, currently constrained by Manhattan real estate.
